This term, Year 4 have been exploring Buddhism as part of their Religious Education curriculum. Recently, they had the exciting opportunity to visit a local meditation centre, where they learned about the significance of mindfulness and meditation in Buddhist practice. The children learned about the importance of mindfulness, meditation, and inner peace – they even tried out some calming breathing techniques! It was a wonderful experience that brought Buddhist teachings to life and enabled the children to reflect on how mindfulness can help them in everyday situations. It was a truly enriching and peaceful adventure!
