We had a visit from a very well known author called Lisa Williamson. She spoke to the children in years 3-6 about her journey to becoming an author, she read aloud to the children & discussed what inspired her to write the books. The HPAMA allotment has had a makeover & the transformation is fantastic! The bark paths have been replaced with paving slabs, which will make it easier for the pupils to access the area to complete their gardening jobs!     Year 6 Visit to the Imperial War Museum

    This week, our Year 6 classes trevelled to the South bank of London to visit the Imperial War Museum following their learning about the impact of the Blitz and post-World War 2 London. 

    As well as seeing a collection of planes, tanks and other vehicles used in World War 2 (including a real Spitfire), the children explored the World War 2 gallery and were even able to try on some old military uniforms.
