Year 4 visits to Mahamevnawa Buddhist Temple

Over the week, our Year 4 classes took their turns to make a visit to the Mahamevnawa Buddhist Temple in Basildon.

Each class spent the morning there, revieving a tour of the beautiful grounds and taking part in a talk about the history of Buddhism and the daily life of a Buddhist Monk in comparison to other practicing Buddhists.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Venerable Siri for being such a brilliant host for us each morning.
