The KS2 Pupil Board had the opportunity to visit the Mayor’s Parlour and the Council Chamber. The Mayor spoke about her duties and the children took part in a debate, which gave the children a chance to learn about local governance and develop their communication skills. pic.twitter.com/lsbakMmaRs

The focus in Nursery for this half-term is All About Me. This week the children have been painting their self-portraits. This year we have decided to take part in Operation Christmas Child again, supporting the charity Samaritan’s Purse. You need to decorate & fill a shoebox with items appropriate for a child. Year 1 & 2 enjoying their Monday night Gardening Club. They are learning all about Bug Hotels to enable them to create their own for the Mayflower garden.
